According to KPMG, Canada prevails over France for electricity costs for companies in countries part of G7. The province of Quebec is in second place among the ten Canadian provinces according to requested electricity rates.
- Rental Costs
According to KPMG, for manufacturing companies, the costs related to property, including financing, represent between 10% and 22% of costs related to localization. The cost of acquiring land and construction of a factory are the lowest in Canada, followed by Italy, the United States and France, among the countries part of G7. The rental costs for industrial buildings are among the lowest in America. .
