An amount of $2 000 is granted for the construction of a single-family residence. An aide to be determined can also be given for a multi-family residence.

An amount equal to the payment of the municipal real estate tax is granted for the first two years following the construction of an industry or a business.

Lyster

Amounts are granted for the construction of different types of residences: single-family residence ($3 000), semi-detached house ($2 000) apartment building ($750 per unite).

An amount, equal to the amount of the municipal real estate tax paid annually, is granted for the construction of a single-family residence. This amount can reach a maximum of $6 000 for a maximum period of 5 years. In force up to December 31 2005. Financial support is also possible for lot developers.

A maximum amount of $500 is offered to pay for the costs of replacement or establishment of an exterior sign. The establishment is applied in the case of a new business site only. Financial help can not exceed 50% of the total cost of the project. The businesses must respect certain architectural criteria's and must be located in the center of the town of Plessisville.

An amount equal to 5 % of the construction costs or the purchase of a new house is granted up to a limit of $5 000. The local financial institutions also allow an equivalent sum of 1 % of the amount of the mortgage loan up to a limit of $1 000. An amount of $5 000 will be drawn at the beginning of the year 2006 among the participants. Independent residences, semi-detached houses, town houses and condominiums are also admissible.

An amount of $1 000 per year for 3 years is granted for the construction of a single-family residence. This amount is offered for an extra 2 years if the residence is connected to the municipal waterworks system.

An amount of $150 per year per child of age to attend the primary school is given to newly arrived owners for a period of 2 years.

An amount of $1 000 per years for 2 years is granted for the construction of a small or medium size industry. Further more, an amount of $1 000 per year for a period of 3 years is given for the creation of all permanent jobs, and this is after a period of 2 years that the company has been in business.
