 
Where are we?The Maple Region is right in the centre of the province of Quebec. Situated on the south shore of the St-Laurent River, between Montreal (at 150 km) and Québec City (at 60 km), at 100 km from Sherbrooke and 200 km from the American border.
The area covers 1 291 km2, the region covers both the St-Laurent plain and the edge of the Appalaches. Agriculture occupies 30% of the territory compared to 65% for forestry and maple groves. In fact, the mountainous region covers 35% of the Maple Region. The CLD (Local centre for maple development) represents the Maple Region for local and foreign business people that want to invest in the region.
